"And look" said Jon, holding up the stone. "we need something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, the stone can be our old!"
Karyn saw her chance and she took it. She grabbed the stone from jon and said "I wish that everyone's clothes would return to how I remember them!"
Instantly, Jon's wedding dress turned into t-shirt and jeans. Karyn's tuxedo turned into a blouse and skirt.
"What did you do?!?!" hollered jon, as he looked at what he was wearing, and then around the mall to see what everyone else was wearing. Nobody else had heard the wish except jon and karyn, so they were all walking around like nothing had happened, wearing what would normally be considered normal clothes. But to jon, everyone seemed to be crossdressing.
"look at that! those girls are all wearing skirts! those men are wearing suits! Why did you do this? I want my dress back, I don't like wearing girl's clothes!" said jon.
"those are boy's clothes!" said karyn.
"no they're not! just because of your wish they are!" Jon suddenly reached out and grabbed the rock from karyn. "I wish karyn and I would switch outfits!"
With a flash, jon was now wearing karyn's skirt and blouse and karyn was wearing jon's t-shirt and jeans.
"There! That's better!" smiled Jon. "and I don't think I want to marry you anymore, Karyn. not yet, anyway. I'm mad at you."
Jon stormed off, people staring at him as he walked by, because he was wearing girl's clothes, which to him were boy's.
Meanwhile, Sarah McMillan and her boyfriend had decided earlier that day to go for a drive in the country. Sarah McMillan wore the football jersey and baggy jeans that she usually wore, and her boyfriend Jack wore a colorful sundress. You see, they had been in town when karyn had made her first wish, which had caused the whole town to crossdress, but they had been out of town when karyn had reversed it. So they were still dressed the same way. They were now on their way back through town.
"Sarah, honey," said Jack, touching up his makeup. "Can we stop at the mall, please? I wanna get those new shoes I saw in the window."
"Geez, you guys and your shoes!" said Sarah. "Fine, I'll call Nicole and Carole to see if they want to meet me there."
Sarah made some calls, and both Nicole and Carole agreed to meet her there, although they seemed more excited than they should be, Sarah thought. The mall wasn't supposed to be fun for girls, that was a boy thing!
As they neared the mall, Sarah noticed two girls in short skirts and tank tops walking down the sidewalk.
"Oh my Gosh! Look at those crossdressers!"
"This used to be a nice town." said Jack.
Then Sarah suddenly realized it was Nicole and Carole! Nicole and Carole, who she'd grown up playing football with, were now wearing skirts and make-up, dressed up just like boys!
"Maybe it's a joke." said Jack. "or somebody dared them."
"No way, not those two, they'd never dress like that."
Sarah pulled the car over and her and Jack got out and called to Nicole and Carole. Nicole and Carole looked them over, looked at each other quizically, and then burst out laughing.
"What's so funny, you freaks?" asked Jack.
"I just didn't expect to see the captain of the football team walking around town wearing a sundress!" laughed Nicole, pointing at Jack's dress.
"Captain of the football team?" asked Sarah, confused. "I'M the captain of the football team!"
"And what's wrong with my dress?" asked Jack, insulted. "At least I don't crossdress like you two!"
"What are you talking about?" asked Carole. "And Sarah, what is with that outfit? That's gotta be the worst thing I've ever seen you wear!"
"I always wear this!" cried Sarah. "It's my football jersey!"
"I've never seen it, quit joking around!" said Nicole. "And how could you be on the football team, your a girl! You've been on the cheerleading squad with us for the past four years!"
Just then Jon, fresh from his argument with Karyn came strolling by, still wearing karyn's clothes. He saw Sarah, Jack, Carole, and Nicole arguing, but he saw that Nicole and Carole were wearing boy's clothes. More effects of karyn's wish, he thought. I'll help them out.
