"I wish..." But before she could finish her sentence, a hand grabbed the rock from her. She was surprised to see it was Jon. "On second thought maybe I should take this with me in case you wish that I was wearing girls clothes or you were wearing a skirt or something!" Jon grabbed the purse and walked to the bathroom. Karyn noticed that the picture of the little man on the men's bathroom door now wore a dress and the figure on the women's wore pants!
She could now do nothing but just stare at this strange world around her. She noticed Sarah McMillan and the captain of the football team walking by. Except now he wore a cheerleading outfit and she wore a letterman jacket and baggy jeans. Karyn thought that she'll just have to deal with this until she could steal the rock from Jon.
Finally jon returned and they walked to the mall, karyn still amazed how 'normal' everyone thought they were dressed. jon kept going on about wedding planning. Once they reached the mall, Jon said that he would have to go look for a new dress, since karyn wasn't supposed to see him in the dress until the "special day". He suggested that she go pick out her tux.
Karyn tried to give jon a hug, in an attempt to sneak into his purse and make a quick wish, the wish that would fix all of this, but jon quickly pulled away and skipped off to the dress store. She was then left alone, and decided to just go along with this until she could think of how to get the rock.
She entered what used to be a mens clothing store but was now a womens clothing store because of the wish. The salesman greeted her wearing a black dress. "can I help you?"
"um, I need a... tux."
"well let me see..." the man flipped through the rack of suits. "ah, this one will look nice on a handsome young lady like yourself." karyn cringed at the handsome remark, it didn't sound right. The man suggested she try it on. Karyn took the suit into the dressing room and tried it on. she was hoping that it wouldn't fit, but it did, and was reasonably comfortable. She came out of the room wearing it and the salesman told her that she could just take it home with her. At first karyn was stunned, tuxes are expensive, but then she realized jon must've bought her suit with the rock!
She left the store, still wearing the tux. but as she walked out into the mall she realized that something was different. there was a place that didn't used to be there before---a wedding chapel, right next to the food court. In the doorway stood jon, wearing a new wedding dress.
"I just couldn't wait! I wished this place up so we could get married right now! I'm so happy!"
Karyn didn't know what to do, she had always pictured her dream wedding in her head, but it never looked like this!
