(Disclaimer: No TG in this part, but sequels are always possible....)

"I wish that we can't make any more wishes on this stone for the next week, unless we both agree to it, or unless we need the wish to fix a bad problem, meaning what we would call a bad problem."

"What?" said Jon. "What did you make that wish for?"

"Well, I messed up. I wished myself Asian without saying a week."

"But that's awful! How are you going to get back?"

"Oh, lots of ways! Like 'I wish that 'too' in that wish means that my transformation is like yours, and since it's like yours I change back in a week'. Or 'I wish that 'my family is Asian' means that my great grandfather got an honorary title from the emperor of China, but I'm still white'." As Karyn said that, nothing happened, of course--they hadn't agreed on the wishes.

Jon replied, "But you just thought of that now..."

"Yeah, I did," said Karyn. "That's what I mean. I messed up, but I figured out how to fix it. But what about next time? We're going to get in trouble if we keep making wishes on the spur of the moment. What if I turned us into statues and forgot to say a week? Or what if said 'I wish' by accident and made the stone disappear? But that's just me. It's your stone and I won't force you. If you don't want to be limited I can just agree to all your wishes in advance."

"I..." Jon thought it over. Karyn was right. He might have said that becoming Asian had made her smarter if his own half-altered memories hadn't taught him something about how bad stereotypes could be. No, she was right because she had learned from her mistake--and Jon could too. He knew he was as prone as Karyn to running into a pregnant woman and accidentally saying 'I wish I could help.' "It's okay, Karyn. It's a good idea."

Karyn smiled. "I thought so. Here's the stone" she said, and handed it back. "Though maybe I should wish we know martial arts."

"If you're going to do stereotypes, maybe I should wish you into an anime character."

"That's not so bad" said Karyn. "Besides, most of them don't look Asian anyway."

"It can be bad if I get to pick the character. I wi-- No, that's what all this is about, right? We can't do that to each other. I guess it really is a good idea, or one of us would transform the other, then we'd start arguing and we'd be at each other's throats."

The next day of school was pretty normal, except that Karyn had even more admirers than when she had gotten the blonde hair and big tits. And except that Sarah had called Jon and Karyn 'chinks'. Somehow, it was harder to ignore, at least with Jon's memories, than when she was just making fun of their clothes or taking a general bad attitude. Still, Sarah was Sarah.

At the end of the day, Karyn was ready to walk home. Jon stopped her. "Wait!"

"Jon, what is it? Did I forget something?"

"Just the Asian-American club. I have memories of my new life, so I know about it. There's nothing really racial about it, it's an excuse to see Chinese movies or anime or whatever, and have the occasional party. And Sarah's not there."

"Oh, what Sarah said is still bothering you?"

"Yeah, Karyn. I was thinking of getting back at her with the rock. But that's why we have to agree, right? So we don't just casually hurt someone like that?"

"Oh, there are lots of things we could do" said Karyn, "to teach her a lesson without really hurting her badly. I have some ideas myself..."

Jon and Karyn talked it over on the way to the club, and before they got there they had decided what to do to Sarah. And so they wished....
