"... I wish that I were Asian too, but that my family came to America a long time ago, so my life wasn't all that different, and the same for Jon."
She looked over at Jon to see if she had made some kind of mistake, like turning him into a girl, but she hadn't. "So how do I look?" she asked. "I know lots of guys think Asian girls are pretty."
"Well I have to admit it. You're gorgeous!" said Jon. "Did you know that overseas they think the same thing about blondes?"
"Hmm" said Karyn. "I guess people are the same everywhere."
"Speaking of blondes" said Jon, "did you know you're still blonde?"
"How many Asian blondes do you know?" said Karyn.
"One, you? It must have been the first wish about your hair. It had to stay blonde somehow, since you can't reverse the wish. Maybe it's bleached." Jon leaned over, close to Karyn, to look at the roots of her hair--which were black. "It's definitely bleached" he said.
"Maybe another wish" said Karyn. "Not a wish to change our race again, a wish for something completely different. I know! I wish that..."
