'No way.' Jennifer thought as she thanked the lady for the compliment.
Jennifer rejoined Helen and reached into her fanny pack to pay Helen back for buying her a salad for lunch.

Just then a little boy came running through the restaurant and ran right into Jennifer, nearly knocking her down and spilling the contents of her fanny pack onto the ground.
"Joseph P. Jones. Stop right this minute and apologize to the nice lady." The boy's mother demanded.
Knowing he was in trouble the boy stopped for a second, mumbled something that didn't sound much like an apology, then took off running again.
Jennifer bent to pick up the stuff that feel from her fanny pack and the boy's mother bent over to help as well.
