After Jon and Karyn split up, she had a gym period. She put her clothes away, changing into her gym shorts.
She had this odd feeling that something was wrong, perhaps because Jon had lost an incredibly powerful object that could change reality as they knew it.
But gym passed uneventfully. It wasn't until Karyn got back to her locker that she was puzzled. Her clothes were inside...yet not. Her ratty old slacks had been replace by a new, more stylish pair. The sneakers were clean and new as well. And her favorite jumper was gone. She slipped into the clothes and grabbed her bag, which had morphed from a bookbag to a messenger bag.
She frowned. Someone had used the stone. But how did she even notice? At least it wasn't so bad though. It was just a newer version of what she normally wore. Why would anyone wish to replace her shoes? That seemed like a waste of a wish for most people.
