Ronald collected his belongings and drifted towards the classroom door. Looking back, he glanced over Dalia once more. Watching the tiny, professionally dressed girl flitting about, smiling and laughing with her peers, he had to remind himself that she had once been a male jock.

Creating her had been an exhilarating experience, like watching a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis. Giving her an extremely feminine body had certainly brought out some interesting potential. What other surprising things could be hidden deep inside the others?

Thinking of these others, Ronald let his eyes gravitate towards the flash of golden hair. For a second, he almost mistook her for Sarah. Her most recent alterations made that slip almost too easy. Would she soon become the cheerleader's twin? It was difficult telling how far along she was in her change, since she was already a girl. Randy's transition had taken the better part of forty-five minutes, give or take, from square one all the way to Dalia. Both Karyn and Leonard had already begun changing. Who could say how much time they had left?

"Guess I need to make things easier on myself," Ronald sighed. Reaching into his pocket, he fingered the stone and muttered, "I wish I could tell how much time each of my potential girlfriends from my previous wish had left before their transitions are complete."

With that, he blinked. When he looked at Karyn again, he could see a small ghostly number 34/100 floating above her head. As he watched, it went up to 35, then 36. There's still plenty of time.

Turning towards Leonard who was now across the room packing his own stuff, Ronald noted that his number was 86. Oddly, it's progress seemed to have slowed almost to a stop. Perhaps Ronald's proximity theory held some merit.

"Alright, so who first?" He mumbled to himself.
