On his way to his next class, Ronald considered the first two outcomes of his wish. Mandy the graceful, lovely dancer and Hallie the beautiful and geeky rich girl. Both strong candidates for a potential girlfriend. He'd have to keep up his game if he wanted the others on his list to turn out competitive.

Arriving at his history class, Ronald scanned the familiar faces for a few such candidates. Jon Madison was sitting in one corner, and in another Jay Duncan. Most promising, however, was near the front, where Kyla Leeson sat near an empty seat. An interesting challenge. After all, he had just finished with a geek turned girl, and since he had missed his chance with Karyn, Kyla would be his first girlfriend candidate who started as a girl. Making her into a suitable candidate would be... well, fun.

Ronald took the seat by Kyla, smiling at the gangly, awkward girl. "Hey Kyla," he said pleasantly, his power granting him confidence he normally would not feel.

"Oh, hey Ronald," Kyla said, smiling back. The two were on cordial, if not particularly friendly terms, but Ronald could see something a little warmer in her eyes today than usual. "Ready for the exam?"

Ronald inwardly cursed. In all the excitement with his wish this morning, he had forgotten about the exam, and while he was not particularly unprepared for it, it was hardly conducive to shaping his classmate's changes. But to Kyla he only said. "Of course. Are you?"

"Always. I've been loving the past few weeks' material, so this should be a snap for me," Kyla beamed.

Ronald considered this. Maybe I could work with this, he thought. Then again, Hallie's already pretty geeky, so maybe I could guide Kyla away from that? Of course, none of that would be easy with this test. Though I do still have the stone. With just one wish, I could fix that easily. But is that worth the risk?

As Ronald pondered his options, the teacher called for quiet. Whatever he was going to do, both with Kyla and the exam, he should take care of it quickly.
