"Ugh, I can't believe teenage boys," she said, "Sometimes I wish I taught elementary school."
She felt compelled to close her eyes and a moment later, she opened to see that everything was different, in subtle ways. The male students who had turned away were now children. The football field visible outside the window was now a playground.
It was plain as day what had happened. The whole school had turned into an elementary school! She must have been dreaming, but she pinched herself and felt the pain. It was all real!
Miss Robertson said "Excuse me." to one of the two boys.
"Yes, Miss Robertson?"
"Do you, er, feel any different?" They looked at her strangely, not knowing what she meant. They hadn't even noticed anything had changed!
Meanwhile, ten year old Karyn and Jon were looking all over for their magical rock.
