"Hi Karyn" said Jon.
"Hi Jonnie" said Karyn. "Just wondering if everything's okay... you were acting strange at school and you never did talk to me about... it.... You said you were going to sleep on it and I thought you were going to talk to me but you never did."
"Jonnie? Oh, right, Jonnie" said Jon. "Karyn, it's a long story. And you can talk about the stone. Mom knows, I had to tell her."
"That's right, Karyn" said Jon's mother Joan. "Come in and have a seat."
"You're what?!" exclaimed Karyn.
"I'm a guy! And I'm pregnant!"
"I said, what?" replied Karyn. "Either of those would be bad enough, but together?"
"I know how it sounds" replied Jonnie, "but that's how the stone works. I'm a guy, my name is Jon. I left the stone at home and Mom accidentally swapped bodies with me. I didn't talk to you about the stone because it wasn't really me, it was her, and she didn't know that I was supposed to talk to you about it.
"
"Well, that explains some of it" said Karyn.
"And then," continued Jonnie, "I accidentally got pregnant from Mom's vibrator. No, no, Mom, I know how embarrassing it is but I have to tell Karyn. We couldn't exactly swap bodies back, we transformed our bodies as we were. She became pregnant because her body was like my Mom body. I stayed pregnant, which is why I'm a girl."
"So Jonnie, you mean you're really a guy? And that I just think you're a girl because of the stone?"
"Yeah, that's it."
"It feels funny" said Karyn. "I can't trust my own memories, because of that stone. I know you're Jonnie. We've dressed together in the locker room all the time, we've shared cosmetics... how can you be a guy?"
"I am!" said Jonnie. "But me and Mom are both pregnant now, with the same baby... what can we do?"
"Wish the baby away?" said Karyn. "You can do that, you know. You didn't wish to be pregnant, so you can reverse it!"
"But you know I've been against abortion...."
"Not as I remember it" said Karyn. "But if you're really a guy that'd make sense. You know, I've always wondered, maybe if guys could get pregnant they wouldn't be against abortion so much. I think now I know."
"Maybe Jon will change his mind" said his mother.
"Maybe I will change my mind," said Jonnie. "But I haven't. And if I did, would it really be okay if I changed my mind about right and wrong just because doing what's right made me suffer? Isn't that sort of selfish?"
"Where's the stone?" asked Karyn.
"In the cupboard" said Jonnie. As Karyn walked over to get it, Jon asked "What are you going to do with it?"
"You'll see" she said. Then Karyn took the stone out and held it, while making her wish, "I wish that Jonnie won't worry about her or her mother having an abortion any more."
Suddenly, both Jonnie and her mother clutched their bellies. It seemed as if they were expanding....
