Sarah left her house to take a breath, her mother was always after her. She always wanted that Sarah would behave like a perfect little princess. She hated her disheveled flashy clothes, her short pink dyied hairs, the music she was listening. And most of all she wanted Sarah to stop being lesbian or at least stopping acting like one. Like if Sarah could stop being what she is or deny it.
Sarah, hated her mother, always a glass of whiskey in her hand and half-drunk. She had took her style half to piss her more and half because she liked it and wanted to dress like she want.
She didn't care about money, she wanted to be accepted like she was and that wasn't her drunken mother or her always absent dad who would give her that. By the way, this last was always on trip and by that he meaned being on the other end of the town with his mistress. Everyone knew what he was doing, that's why her mother was drinking, but she didn't want to say a word about that, too scared to be trow back in the street. And the more Sarah's mother drunk, the more her father was away...
The only person who never looked at her like with disgust, hate or mocking look because of her sexual preferences, was Karyn the slut. That's why she became close to her, as the two outcast of the school. And the time passing by, she developped affection to that strong girl who were keep moving in life ignoring the look of the others. Even if Karyn wasn't obviously lesbian, Sarah hopped in her heart she will conquest the feeling of that girl.
So that day, Sarah goes to the house of Karyn, an old house with a neglected lawn and a rusted fence. She didn't knock at the door to not hear the old loafer Karyn had for mother. She walked around the house to the window of Karyn. As she put down her headphones on her shoulders the punk-metal still playing loudly, she heard the moanings and rattles coming from the window of Karyn's sister. Sarah couldn't see behind the curtain but it was obvious of what was happening in there.
And finally she knocked on the window of Karyn. She saw her put a box away and walk to her, still astonishingly beautiful for a young mother. Karyn opened the windows and pass her head outside.
"Hi Sarah, what is it ?" She says.
Sarah stayed a moment looking at her sweet and voluptuous lips and keep herself from kissing her right there.
"I... hum... I... was thinking if you hum... if you wanted to go to... the mall... for a little walk... you know... see... well ???"
Shit Sarah though How can I be so nervous each time I'm alone with her ? Keep consistence you can do it...
Karyn look at her a moment, making Sarah even more nervous. The little punk didn't seemed to know what to do with her hands and didn't stop balancing on one foot or the other.
"Well, I have Kathreen and I don't like to her to mom... and Beth is... busy..."
"Well... bring her with you... hum... I'll take her when hum... you'll be tired of carrying her." Says Sarah still unable to make a complete sentence under the stress.
"I have a baby carriage so it's not really complicated to take her with me... so ok, stay here a moment." Says naturaly Karyn.
Sarah saw Karyn going under her bed and giving her a folded baby carriage. Sarah took it and Karyn took her baby before passing by the window to go outside.
"I don't want mom asking where I go and why..." Karyn explain.
Sarah unfolded the baby carriage on the sidewalk and Karyn put Kathreen in it. Then they started to walk to the mall one miles from there.
