“What do you mean she doesn’t live here!” Biff’s rage made her wings fly outward. “Of course she does!” Sarah.. how could anyone just disappear? Who was this guy? Why was he in her house?

Jon was equally confused. He didn’t make any wishes.. Sarah should be here!

The man at the door was in his early forties. He looked very confused by the fact that a sphinx was here and was naturally kind of curious. “I’ve never seen a changed before,” he said with a little smile down to her. He gulped slightly at the look of impatience the cat-creature gave. “Though yeah, it’s just me and my pet that lives here-” he gestured to a big black cat.

The cat stared at Biff.. and raised it’s heckles up. It stared at the sphinx as if daring her to enter its territory with a light hiss. The fact that Biff was much bigger then her didn’t seem to concern it. Seemingly anway.

The man winced slightly at the cat’s challenge. “Uh, sorry. She doesn’t like other cats much,” he cleared his throat. “Come on Luna please play nice.”

Biff grimaced. She really didn’t want to deal with the cat. “Look- can I just.. go to the room in your house? Something took her. Something took Sarah.” She could feel it.. she didn’t know how but something must have happened.

Jon wasn’t sure what to make of this either. He knew Sarah lived here… why was she gone? Why was she just… erased?

The man blinked at the request. “Well- this better not be a trick,” he muttered. “Though you do seem genuine. Alright, I’ll let you see the house.” He gestured them inside. “The names Malcolm by the way. I moved in here a few years ago. Who are you looking for?”

“Her name is Sarah,” said Jon. “She.. used to live here.”

“She lives here,” Biff emphasised with a slight growled.

As Jon and Biff carefully walked inside, the black cat gave yet another hiss as it stared down at Biff. The cat walked up and gave a low growling sound. It spooked Biff slightly making her fur bristle. The black cat seemed to enjoy that and eventually turned around, showing it’s tail in the air.

Biff rolled her eyes. “I hate cats,” she muttered.

“You are part cat,” Jon whispered.

“Don’t remind me. Come on let’s go to Sarah’s room.”

With Malcolm they started to take in the entire house. It was.. different. Not in the room sizes or shapes but the very furnitures, the room and even the smells… nothing of Sarah and her family was here. Biff Looked in the room and started to sniff the air. She concentrated on Sarah.. her pretty face… her voice… she remembered her. She remembered everything...

Jon looked around but nothing made any sense to him. This was crazy! Had Sarah been erased from existence?

“I.. I smell her,” Biff whispered as she locked in to that feeling. “Yes- I can… she was here!” She started to sniff towards the corner of the room. She placed her paws on the wall and to her surprise her left paw actually went ‘through’ the wall. She fell into it slightl and pulled her limb away. “What the-” It was like reality had suffered some kind of strange cut… a weird hole in reality was here.

Malcolm gasped. “That’s.. never happened before,” he said confused. “What the heck is that?” It was like something out of the twilight zone.

Jon poked at the hole in reality. It was stupid to do maybe but fortunately nothing weird happened. Just his hand went into the wall.. and out. He felt against the edge.“It.. it feels like it’s getting smaller.”

“What’s going on,” Biff asked. “Sarah! Can you hear me?!” Yet there was no answer…

Sarah felt like she was in some strange dream…

There was a mist all around her. It was.. confusing but at the same time she didn’t feel any ‘fear’ exactly. Just confusion as she asked herself how she got there. She continued to walk what seemed to be an eternal horizon. She glanced at the ground, noting a field of stars.. and above floated more worlds then she could count. Time felt like it was moving quickly as she continued to walk onwards partly driven by instinct but mostly a dream-like intuition.

As she walked she felt a strange sensation. Small horns began to form on her head as her hair darkened, turning into a curious red. This was followed by her skin, following suit with it’s own reddened shade like a furious fire. She blinked a bit and her eyes formed into a pinkish rose hue that made for a strange contrast to the rest of her body. She stumbled slightly when her legs changed; ripples of dark brown fur formed down there turning into a set of goat-like legs with heavy cloven hooves.

She gasped as a tail started to push itself out from her dress, spilling to the end and touching the ground. Looking behind it had a spaded end. With a thought she could flex it around. “What the- I’m a- demon?!” She- she couldn’t be! Did the mist get her? She was too old for that though! How- why!

She continued to walk in this strange place. All at once the mist around her suddenly parted and things became more clear. She saw houses and a street with strange carts driven by horse-like creatures but far larger and with tusks like a walrus. It was unsettling to look at but there were demons of all sorts here… Some had tails, others had wings, a few were green skinned, purple.. red as she was herself.

She looked around wildly as she realized she was in a place that was completely unfamiliar. Was this hell or something?!

“Hey, you okay?” Asked a strange flying imp-like creature. It flew on small wings and had tiny horns similar to Sarah. His skin was red coloured while the wings looked like that of a bat. He was very short at only a foot tall.

“Uh.. not really. Where am I? I’m not dead am I?” Sarah asked.

The imp gave her a curious look. “Heh, sis you sure are funny sometimes.” the imp fluttered downward. “What makes you think you’re dead? Not a bad assignment I hope?”

Sarah was still taking in the view. The mist around her was clearing further. This was a strange town with oddly chaotic streets and misshaped houses. The whole thing had a surreal look to it. The sky appeared to be night time, with a strange dark grey moon hanging over them. It was perpetually full and very large, about three times bigger then the moon of the Earth. Looking around she saw small trees and flowers but they struggled in the low light conditions of this place. “This.. isn’t my world..” She whispered.

“What do you mean sis?”

Sarah looked at the imp oddly. “Why do you keep calling me sis! I don’t have a- what are you anyway!”

The imp seemed to give a hurt look. “Well- you are my sister.”

Memories seemed to flood to Sarah. It was like a half remembered dream. This.. couldn’t be right though could it? “Uh.. Kel..ik?”

“That’s me!” He grinned. “Yeesh I was worried. You looked really lost there.”

Sarah was still trying to work out just what was going on. Her body.. it was so different. She struggled to walk on these hooved feet. The weird tail behind her.. why was she a demon! “My body- what happened to it?”

Kelik was still looking at her strangely. “Well- I dunno, you look pretty normal to me.”
