Thinking that the stone might still be in his cubicle (his former cubicle), Jon left the office and checked. When he did, he saw that someone else was occupying his cubicle. It was a woman, by the look of it. And as he got closer, he saw that it was Sarah McMillan! She lost some of her sexual glamour, now looking like most of the other women working on the floor, but it was definitely her.
He slowly walked towards her cubicle, but then stopped when he saw Karyn approach her and talk to her in a friendly way. Were they friends now?
Karyn looked up and made eye contact with Jon, then said to Sarah "The boss is coming. Look busy." Then she left the cubicle and quickly walked away.
Jon then approached the cubicle, which before his wish was his. "Sarah," he said.
She looked up at him with tired eyes. "Yes, Mr. Gibson?" Jon had to admit. It felt pretty good seeing Sarah like this. She was such a bitch before. But now she was shy and mousy.
"Mr. Farber needs to see you. I believe you know where his office is?"
"Yes," she said. Then she stood up from her chair and left her cubicle, taking her purse with her.
Once Jon was sure Sarah was nowhere in sight, and that no one else was watching, he walked into Sarah's cubicle and started looking for the stone. It wouldn't take long for Sarah to find out that she wasn't really called into Steve's office, so he had to make this quick.
