'I wish Jon wouldn't make such a mess' she said. 'What does he need this rock for anyway? It's just a stupid stone, it shouldn't be clutering up the place. She took the stone downstairs and threw it in the trash. Then she tied the trash bag up tight, and took it out to the kurb. Then she went inside for a glass of scotch. Garbage lifting is thirsty work.
Not long after, the garbage men came and like they had done so many times before, they picked up her rubbish, and threw it in the back of thier truck. Their root over, they then headed to the landfill site, and dumped all the trash in their truck onto an even bigger pile of garbage.
The next month, the site reached full capacity and was covered over with 500 tones of earth and soil. Soon building work was started, and within half a year, a new industrial estate stood on top of what was once a huge pile of stinking rubbish.
The stone was never seen again, and when he thought about it in later years Jon figured that it was probably for the best, after all, that messy old stone was just cluttering up the place anyway.
The end.
