The pair made it to J.J.'s house and found that J.J.'s mother, Mrs. Jennings, was already home.
"How was school today girls?"
"It was okay." J.J. said.
"Ryan asked me to the Prom." Karyn said. "And Justin asked Jennifer." She added.
"That is great girls. Going to the Prom was highlight of my teen years. We will have to go shopping for Prom gowns this weekend." J.J.'s mother said. "Jennifer, you will feel like a Fairy Princess in the right gown."
'In more ways than one.' J.J. thought to himself. Instead of saying that out loud, J.J. said, "We have to hurry or we will be late getting to Mrs. Robertson's."
As she watched the two girls head upstairs, Jennifer's mother reminisced about her Prom, and what she had done in the hotel room her date had rented. 'I just hope that the girls are more careful than I was.'
