She voiced her concern out loud saying "I wish J. J. and Karyn were best friends, just like Kathy and I were, we shared everything." The memory of how she and Kathy had been almost like twin sisters, spending nearly as much time at each other's house as the other did.
"Oh well," Jane said standing up and removing her hand from the rock. "It might not be that good of an idea; after all Kathy and I were both girls and about the same size. Still, I wish J. J. and Karyn remain good friends."
Jane selected a book and left J. J.'s room.
Meanwhile, J. J. was affected almost immediately by his mother's wish. For one moment the room seemed to spin and then it was over.
He shifted slightly in the chair in which he was sitting. 'That's odd. It felt for a moment like pillow suddenly grew bigger.' He looked at the pillow and didn't see that it had changed any at all.
The pillow hadn't changed. J.J. had. He was now very close to being the same size as was his best friend Karyn. The biggest two differences between them was that Karyn had much larger breasts and J. J. was still technically male, but just barely so. J. J. now possessed 'child bearing' hips and a femininely trim waist.
After putting the children to bed, J. J. called Karyn and the two of them talked for over an hour. Karyn told J. J. about how Clyde and his friends had been after only one thing from her and J. J. gave her a shoulder to cry upon.
Before hanging up, the two friends finalized plans to go shopping at the mall on the next day. J. J. had just been paid and, even with the amount his mother had insisted he put away in the bank, still had a sizable amount of money to shop with.
In the morning, while getting ready, J. J. leaned against his book shelf, his hand upon the magic wishing stone, but his mind elsewhere. He voiced, out loud, "I wish "
