Odd, thought Jon. Did the stone ever do that before? He was supposed to speak his wish, right? It didn't grant wishes by thought.
But suddenly he got an idea. Jon thought, "I wish that this magic stone could grant wishes that are only thought and not spoken, and that this is retroactive to five minutes ago."
Which not only made the stone work that way, but made there be a reason for the stone to have worked that way before. It was like a time-travel sci-fi show.
Now he could look around. There was Joseph, looking like usual, and Jeff, with female parts between his legs. They were both in some kind of locker room and naked, just like before, but it was a different locker room. They were getting out their swim trunks. Jon glanced out a window and saw sand, surf, and palm trees.
And neither of the other two guys seemed to think anything was the least bit strange. Of course, they hadn't heard the wish. They'd think it was normal to be on the island--they probably thought they were here on some kind of vacation--and Jeff thought it was normal to have his vagina. But would he forget it afterwards?
Jon made another wish: "I wish that after we get back from this island, Joseph doesn't remember what happened and Jeff remembers it but thinks he was just daydreaming what it would be like."
But wait a minute. Didn't he wish for four people to be here? Yes, he did. But he had only been talking to Joseph and Jeff--with himself, that made three people. The fourth person was probably Karyn or Adam, but Jon had no idea which one the stone would have picked. He looked around for the fourth person....
