"But there isn't any such thing," said Jeff. "What can we do, dress up as vampires and scare him? We'd have to get out of jail for that anyway."
"Naah," replied Jon, and then made his wishes.
"I wish that Alan will become a vampire slayer, like Buffy, gaining his powers now."
"I wish that tonight, Alan will slay a vampire that's about to hurt his dad, saving him."
"I wish that since only girls can become vampire slayers, Alan could not become one until he got a vagina and became part girl."
"I wish that once Alan saves his dad's life, his dad will realize that since getting a vagina let him become a vampire slayer, it's really a great thing, and he'll refuse to press charges any further and we'll be out of jail by tomorrow morning."
"I wish that most vampires avoid killing people because they are afraid of the Slayer taking revenge, so the town is a lot less dangerous than the town on Buffy."
"Finally, I wish that if Alan's girlfriend does leave him, he'll find someone else to go out with who is happy that he has a vagina."
"Finally what?" asked Jeff.
"What?"
"You just said 'Finally'."
Jon realized that the word wasn't really part of his wish, so that while Jeff wouldn't hear the wishes, he'd hear the other things Jon said. "Never mind. But I bet we'll be out of jail by tomorrow morning."
"I don't know..." said Jeff.
"I have a hunch," said Jon.
"I can't believe it," said Jeff. "All charges dropped. I wonder what happened. Alan's dad must have changed his mind for some reason."
