"I was talking to Alan about what had happened to us and he mentioned that they wanted to go out with some guys like you... and they asked him but he wasn't available. He suggested me and wondered if you were free tonight too."
Well, thought Jon, the wish about making people as comfortable as if it wasn't new certainly worked. "Is this, er, a date?" asked Jon.
"Sort of. I think they're not completely sure."
"Well... Sure, I'll go." Jon knew he couldn't refuse such things forever.
Jon and Jeff met Sandy and Dale outside the movie theater--it was obvious who they were since there weren't any other identical twins nearby.
