After showering I dried off and wrapped a towel around my waist, it occurred to me that Mum might go through and clean up my room this morning. My hiding place may not be as secure as I'd hoped, so I rushed into my room and was surprised to find, not my mother, but Karyn sitting on the end of my bed.
"Morning Jon." She said staring at my half naked body.
Karyn and I are pretty close, it's true. She has been in my room before, sometimes she's even called around in the morning to walk to school with me, but to find her sitting on the end of my bed after I've just had my morning shower was a little unusual.
"You're here early!" I noted.
"Oh come on Jon! You really can't be that surprised to see me. First you show me a magical stone that grants wishes, then you let me accidentally miss-wish myself long blonde hair and bigger boobs, then you say see you tomorrow." She was right it was quite a lot to dump on someone in one afternoon, "Of course I'm going to spend all night thinking about making the impossible happen, and then come rushing around here as soon as I could."
