Closing the door behind Shane, Janet returned to the table to clean it up, her mind not on this task. Instead she was wondering about Jon. She knew it wasn't normal for a boy to be able to pass so well as a girl. Jon hadn't had a male figure in his life for some time and Janet worried that that lack might have affected him growing up.
