Finishing Janets hair, Shane gives her a final spray. "That should hold you till you come in again"
"That is the most." Karyn says. "I can't wait to have my hair done up."
"A special occasion?", Shane asks.
"No, I just want to have an updo", she says as Casey and Jon walk out from back.
Janet looks at her son, "Jon?".
"Sorry Miss Shane", this is all I could find.
Jon was wearing a pink blouse with white pants and blue sneakers.
"That is fine" Shane smiles at Casey and asks Jon, "You still want to work here?"
"Yes, Miss Shane", Jon reply's not understanding how he can wear this blouse.
"Then I will expect you here after school, and every weekend. Can you do this?"
"Yes, Miss Shane", Jon says, having the sudden urge to be there ever day after school, and he can't wait for Saturday.
Janet smiles at her son, and says "You behave yourself, and do as Shane says."
"Ok, Mom", Jon is feeling embarrassed.
"Ok, then go over and shampoo, Karyn's hair".
Janet goes up to pay for her color and style, she sets the stone on the desk as she takes and writes out the check.. Casey picks the stone up and says, "Your hair turned out beautiful. Shane does a great job."
"She sure does". I think that it turned out as good as Barbara Johnson's."
"I think it turned out better", sighing in a long sad sigh.
"What's wrong Casey?" I wish that Shane would let me work as a stylist here, it would be so much fun. I have all the training, but we don't seem to have the customers, and most of the people would rather have her do their styles".
