Well, Ixios definatly wasn't going to just die and this seemed to be my best bet. I didn't really follow much of what Naka was saying, but she seemed trustworthy and my only help.
"Okay, I'll do it. Lets get this over with." I said. Naka's face lit up and she ran up and hugged me the best she could through her armor.
"Alright! You have no idea how important this is. You are awesome! Okay, lets get started. All you have to do is stand still, and I'll summon the spirit into your body." Naka took a couple of steps back and bowed her head, almost as if she was praying. She quickly looked up.
"Last chance, are you sure about your decision?" She asked.
"Yes, not like I have a lot of options." I smirked.
"Okay!" Naka's head bowed again. She put her arms out to her sides, the palms of her hands facing skyward. A deep meditative state seemed to wash over her. I took a moment to look around, at my mom frozen in mid-step, at Ixios laying on the ground, completely still. A group of birds overhead, stopped in time. I looked at Naka. She was strangely attractive. Maybe it was the battle armor, maybe it was the personality. Maybe it was the fact that she was really beautiful. All of a sudden she looked up at me. I quickly averted my gaze, but to no avail. She smiled at me.
"Do you feel anything?" She asked, anticipation prevelent in her voice.
"Nope, nothing at all." Just as I said that, I felt my stomach drop as if I was flying down a rollercoaster. My balance waivered a bit. "Nevermind, I feel something now."
"Good, its working, her spirit is coming in. You might want to lay down." She walked over to me and helped me to the ground, my balance getting worse and worse. My body started tingling as if it was all falling asleep on me. This wasn't too bad.
I spoke too soon. The most horrific pain burst from my stomach and chest. My eyes opened wide and it seemed like I expelled all the air in my body through one giant dry heave. Naka noticed right away and kneeled beside me.
"Whats wrong?! Is everything all right??" She asked, frantically. I couldn't answer her, though, as I continued to dry heave and the pain in my body got worse and worse. I started to panic. What was going on? Was I dying? Was this all a ploy by Stone Julie to kill me? My body started to convulse, Naka put her hands on my arms to keep me down. She was talking to me, but I couldn't understand it. Everything began to fade until I was swallowed up in complete darkness...
