"You're asking me to do some strange stuff right now, but I have a some questions to ask before I make any sort of agreement." I tried my hardest to sound stern. "First of all, what do you mean 'become Aomi'?"

"Well, once again, I won't try to go over hundreds of years of science for you, so I'll keep it simple. The spirit that is in all living beings is always around. Right now ours is in our body. Aomi's, because she isn't born yet, is scattered all about the world. When someone is born, they draw all of their spirit into their being. Is this making sense?" Naka raised an eyebrow.

"Uh, yea, kind of. Sounds far-fetched, but I'll go along." I said, still a bit cautious. I nodded to Naka to let her continue.

"We have tracked her entire spirit and we can manipulate it into your body. Once you have her spirit, you can handle the mind image taken from Aomi at her full power, thus becoming Aomi. That lost you, didn't it?" She said, looking almost on the verge of given up.

"Uh, yea, with the manipulate into my body thing and the handling the mind image part." I said, completely lost.

"I'll use electromagnetic impulse to draw Aomi's spirit into your body. Kind of like charging your spirit up like a magnet, and then doing the same to Aomi's, drawing you together. A mind image is a electric copy of someones mind. So, if I wanted to have a lot of courage, I could have the mind image of a courageous person placed upon mine, mixing them. Its not done often at all, due to legal issues. Anyways," Naka continued, "Anybody normal who tried to accept Aomi's mind image would probably fry their brain, so the only person we can do it on is someone with the power of Aomi's spirit. Anymore questions?" Naka asked.

"Yea, why choose me? And why not come before Stone Ju..err, Ixios was created?" These were what I really wanted to know.

"Well, out of anybody alive in this time, you've had the most experience with her. And the reason why we didn't come before, is..." Naka trailed off for a moment. "...is because Ixios would have been created no matter what. There was no way to pre-empt Ixios. We've tried, traveling thousands of years in human history, trying to stop her. It seems like everytime we prevent one of her births, another one forms eventually. So, we figure, we have to let her exist, and then defeat her." Naka pulled out a well conceiled knife from her thigh armor. She looked at the blade, the light from the sun glaring off her bronze and silver armor. This made me stammer on the last questions.

"Okay, why the blue hair and will I be the same after I 'become Aomi'?"

Naka, as if I caught her in a daydream, quickly sheathed the knife and answered the question, "You hair changes color depending on how well you develop your aura. Its also used to signify rank in the 'future' armies. It goes white, yellow, purple, blue, gold, and red. Red being the highest. Aomi was the only one to achieve it. That it?" Naka seemed to ignore my last question.

"No, I asked will I be the same after I become Aomi." I asked, making sure she heard every word this time. The way she evaded that question really raised some suspicion in me.

"Well..." Naka looked down, "..We're not sure. We've never done this before. All we know is, yes you can accept Aomi's mind image if you have her spirit. But you can't really accept her spirit right away. You have to slowly gain it, as Aomi did while growing up. So, basically, once we begin the process, you must physically live out Aomi's growth from age 0-20, in a five hour period. Thats four years an hour. We're just stumped on how you're going to go from how you are now to a baby Aomi, up to a matured Aomi. And then, we don't even know if you'll be able to go back to how you are now. This is the tough part. We have six hours of frozen time left, so you have an hour to think." Naka walked over next to me. "I wish I could touch you." She looked at me with saddened eyes. I smiled a bit, feeling the same way, but not willing to express it. I had much more important things to put my mind toward...
