I knew I was in Julie's body, and that Kathy was near me, but I was barely aware of anything any more. It might have been ages--or maybe just minutes--before I vaguely heard something. I felt as if I was floating in water, but somehow I wasn't drowning. I had dreams constantly, but when I was awake everything was indistinct.

Then I felt cold and I was being pushed out of Julie's body. Someone slapped me, and put me down on something soft. I opened my eyes and cried. I tried to speak but I realized I had forgotten how and I could do no more than cry. I was a baby now, and right next to me was another one. Kathy, no doubt. I was barely even able to think. I remembered everything, but I would need a few years before my brain could access it.

I heard Chad and Julie talking nearby. I didn't recognize the words at the time, but this is what they said.

"Julie, babe, I asked the stone for the details already. The wish didn't make you pregnant. You were already pregnant, but our baby didn't have a soul yet. I deaged Jon and Kathy until they were just souls. I don't know where baby souls usually come from but that's where theirs come from."

"Chad, you-- you mean they really are our babies? Even though they're Jon and Kathy?"

"Something like that, Julie. They're, like, reincarnated."

"And they weren't twins, Chad?"

"They are now... The two souls made the embryo split into twins."

"But they're the same sex."

"Shit, Julie, that's how identical twins are! At least maybe we can use the stone to fix this somehow. I'm glad we found it again--that thing's awesome. Too bad we didn't get a chance to use it earlier."

"Yeah, Chad, hand me that rock. Thanks. I wish that...."
