"Got what?" Karyn blushed as another girl walked into the room and looked at her funny.
Thinking quickly, she thought up an excuse for her outburst. "I just remembered what I was supposed to be doing this afternoon. It's been bothering me all morning..." 'Among other things...'
The girl, who was someone Karyn didn't know, smiled teasingly, "Date? Party? Or just someplace secret?" Karyn didn't know how to respond, but didn't have to as the girl waved her off, "Eh, whatever, 'syour business anyway." She then hurried to a stall, apparently in need of relieving herself.
