James heart was beating like a jackhammer in his chest as he hid behind the couch. Steve had just left but James was afraid to come out. He was incredible embarrassed. Not only had he transformed himself into a teenage beauty queen and dressed in nothing more than a shear, skintight, green teddy, but he had also been dancing around like a fool when his neighbor had opened the door.
"The door!" James said, quickly springing from his hiding place as he quickly ran over and locked the door. He walked over and turned the music off and collapsed on the couch. His chest jiggled slightly as he sighed at the close call he had just had.
"That was real stupid." James said aloud. "I have to be more careful. Make sure the door is locked and the medallion is in a safe place when I do these transformations."
James fearfully sprang to his feet and ran to where he had set down the medallion.
"Where is it?" James shrieked. He began knocking stuff off the counter and dove to look under the table, but there was no sign of it. "And where are the instructions?"
"Oh shit! Steve stole it!" James said panicked. "I have to go get it back." But James looked down at what he was wearing and realized that he just couldn't run next door wearing a nearly see through piece of lingerie.
James thought about running and getting a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to wear, they wouldn't fit right, but they were better than nothing. He was about to run to change, but he stopped and looked out the window and saw his neighbor Steve walking over to his car carrying a large duffle bag.
"He's leaving town!" James shrieked. "I'll be stuck like this if I don't get the medallion back!"
James looked around and grabbed his trench coat off the coat rack and pulled on a pair of slippers that were now five or six sizes to big. He grabbed his wallet and car keys, shoved them in his the trench coats pocket, pulled the coat tight around his nearly naked body and took off towards the parking lot.
James got there just as Steve was about to pull out of the parking lot. James quickly ran to his car, his overly big shoes and coat were making it a little awkward to run, but he managed with out tripping to get into the car. He quickly had to scoot his seat forward so he could reach the pedals and steering wheel, but then he was off. He thought he saw Steve's car up ahead and raced to catch up to him.
"So what am I going to do when I catch him?" James thought. "I really just can't take the medallion away from him, at least not in this body. What am I going to do?"
