Steve quickly scurried back and closed the door.
"God I hope she doesn't call the cops." Steve thought in a panic.
Suddenly the loud music that had been blaring through the walls stopped.
Steve felt his heart pounding in his chest, fearful that the police might be knocking on his door at anytime. Then he remembered the piece of jewelry he had glanced at and then grabbed.
"Why did I have to go and steal this?" He thought pulling the medallion out of his pocket. As he did, a piece of paper which he had snatched up along with the medallion, fell to the floor.
"What a piece of junk." He thought looking at the medallion and then he looked down at the paper on the floor. He picked it up and started reading it. His eyes widened as he read the directions for the use of the medallion. He was stunned as he read every detail of how the medallion worked and the rules for using it.
"Could this thing really work?" And then he thought of the blond girl that he had seen dancing over at James apartment. "I don't remember ever seeing her around here before and I am sure I would remember her." Steve looked down at the instructions again. "I wonder? Could that have been James? No way but what if it was. That would mean that James would be trapped as that sexy blond teenager until he got this medallion back. And if that's the case, then there is no way in hell that 'she' would be calling the cops right now."
A broad smile spread across Steve's face as he came up with what he should do next.
