Steve had been out of work for almost three months now and didn't really know what to do. He was about to lose his apartment, which would mean he would have to move back home with his parents, which would be a living hell. He was at the end of his rope and nothing seemed to be going his way.
Suddenly music started blaring through the walls from the apartment next door. Steve listened to the blaring music for a few moments, but it was the last straw in a new of events that had been going wrong in his life so he was going to do something about it.
He got up and decided to tell his neighbor to keep it down. He had spoke to the guy, what's his name James, a couple of times. He seemed ok, but Steve really didn't like him. He had a great job, nice car and things seemed to come so easy for him.
Steve knocked on the door once, but there was no response. "Dammit!" Steve thought in angry frustration. "I am tired of being ignored and overlooked." He pounded on the door, but there was still no response. He grabbed the doorknob in frustration and to his surprised it turned. He swung the door open and stormed in the apartment ready for a fight.
To his instead of seeing James, there was a knockout blond wearing nothing but some lingerie who stood frozen in shock staring right back at him. She seemed to be pretty young, maybe eighteen or nineteen and he could help but stare at the cleavage popping out of the front of her top. She suddenly shriek in surprise, turned and ran for cover.
Suddenly Steve thought this was really bad. Here he had already just walked into someone else's apartment and now if this girl panicked he could be in a world of trouble.
"I'm so sorry." He said quickly. "Wrong apartment." And he turned to leave. As he was heading for the door he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. It was a weird looking medallion and maybe it was valuable. So without a second thought, Steve grabbed it and slid it into his pocket. Then he was out the door and heading back to his apartment.
