An arrangement

"Adam, don't you think you'd have a better shot with a girl who is into guys?" Jon said and began to leave. Adam stopped her.
"Really, I'm not that good with girls I was hoping that since you used to be a guy that you would understand. You see, I need a girlfriend so my dad will stop bugging me. He seems to think I'm gay and the more he thinks it the harder it is to live at home. Look, If you could just pretend to be my girlfriend for a little while I could pay you. Money just for hanging out. All expenses paid. Free movies, concerts, all you'd have to do is put up with me." Alan pleaded.
"I don't want people to think I'm into guys. So..."
"No one but my family needs to know. My brother's in college so it won't get back to school. We can give you a different name for my family."
"Look, I only have guy-like clothes. I don't wear make up."
"I'll pay for that too. Name your price." Adam pleaded.
"Okay, well try it but for a probationary period. What did you have in mind?" Jon agreed feeling that it was the only way out of the conversation before someone would overhear.
