"So, I guess the transformation's complete," said Sarah as Jen arrived at her house the next evening.
Jen giggled self-consciously. "I guess so. I'm a girl through and through."
It was an accurate assessment; to see her, you would never have guessed that she had ever been male. She now wore a tight-fitting dark bluish-green teeshirt (with a long neckline that revealed much of the base of her neck and clavicals) and black capris, and a black purse whose strap fell bewteen her two small breasts. She had also had her ears pierced when shopping with Karyn, and small studs now hung there, and Karyn had also helped her do her make-up. If there was still anything even remotely masculine about her appearance, it was her hair, which was shorter than that of most girls (particularly those on the cheerleading team), but she was determined to let it grow-out to a more appropriate length, and had already done some thinking about how she would style it. She could, of course, simply wish it to be longer, but she had been quite wary of using the stone ever since she had had her little 'accident.'
"Come in!" Sarah beckoned. Jen promptly did so, and was quickly impressed by the oppulence of her friend's house; but then, she figured, you didn't get to be the most popular girl in school by being poor.
"My parents are way in Barbados," Sarah said, as if reading her mind, "so we have the entire place to ourselves."
Sarah led Jen to the livingroom, where the entire cheerleading team was situated, on couches or on the floor, laughing and chatting amoungst themselves, or singing or dancing along to the lound pop music that was blaring from the stereo. They all enthusiastically greeted Jen upon seeing her, complimenting Jen on her new membership on the cheerleading team. Unbeknownst to Jen, Sarah had specifically told them to be nice to her before hand; some of the cheerleaders would probably never accept her as a "real" girl, but Sarah was intent that she feel at home.
If there were any real misgivings, however, they faded away after a couple of hours. Jen had been shy at first, but thanks to the efforts of Sarah and another cheerleader named Vicky (who came-across as a genuinely nice girl who actually wanted to get to know her new teammate), she eventually started taking-part in the fun as zealously as anyone else. Jen's integration was eased along by generous quantities of liquor, which Sarah had raided from her father's cabinet.
Jen, being as she was only sixteen years old, had never actually drank before, and became 'happy' quite quickly, along with most of the other girls in the room. A notable exception was Sarah herself, who drank very little, and half-withdrew from the party once she was content that the other girls had accepted Jen as one of their own.
Jen, for her part, was completely amazed that she herself now WAS one of them; just another girl in a room full of girls, giggling and singing along with the rest of them. Just as astoundingly, she wasn't "turned-on" by any of them, even as they stripped-down to their undergraments towards the wee hours of the morning. That's not to say she didn't find them attractive; but she was attracted to them in that kind of 'friendly' way by which teenage girls are attracted to one another. She had never really felt anything quite like it before (boys never really felt quite the same way), but she liked it. She finished-off her drink and then made her way towards the washroom.
But before she got there (although she was out of the sight of the other girls) she was intercepted by Sarah, who was still very sober.
"Having a good time?" She asked.
"Oh yes!" Jen exclaimed. "I LOVE being a girl!"
"I thought you would! Now then, Jen. I need to talk to you for a moment..."
