Karyn's parents test the rock.

"Seriously, I wish we could believe you."
No sooner had he uttered the words, than there was the inevitable flash and both Edward and Sharryn (Karyn's Dad & Mum respectively) believed the strange story.
"Wow, I guess it does grant wishes!"
Jon now chimed in with a warning about how one had to be carefull, because wishes were very difficult or perhaps even impossible to undo.
"So does that mean that Karyn has to remain tied up with that invisible rope stuff, or do I have to make a wish?" Asked Edward.
"Um, no. I should be able to release her just by saying: Release the invisible bonds on Karyn now!" replied Jon.
Karyn's arms and legs regained their freedom. Forcing herself up to her feet, Karyn moved toward her Dad with her hand out to take the rock. Unfortunately, for her though, a previous wish was still in place and she was unable to grasp it. karyn was not permitted to make any wishes for the remainder of the 24 hours.
"Edward," Sharryn asked, "would you be so kind as to please pass me the stone, I have an idea as to how we can clear up this mess."
Knowing his wife's intelligence and not having any idea himself how to fix matters, Edward passed the rock to Sharryn.
"Thankyou Edward. You know, it occurs to me that this might be the only opportunity I may ever have to learn the truth about a few things. So, I wish that Edward would calmly remain where he is right now and truthfully answer any questions I ask of him. There that should do it. Now Edward, I have had the feling for a long time now that you have been unfaithful. Please tell me about all the times you have broken our marriage vows?"
Edward launched into a detailed story of infidelity dating back to only 1 week after their marriage. It appeared that Edward had not just been unfaithful, he had worked at trying to create some sort of record at infidelity! By the time he had finished talking, his voice had dropped to a croaky whisper and he had enumerated over a hundred acts of adultery.
Not finished there, Sharryn asked, "So were you even faithful when we were going together at school, of while we were engaged?"
After a bit more prompting, Edward revealed that he had played around before, during and after every occaision in their lives. In a nutshell, he was a cad. With the information revealed, Sharryn decided what to do with him.
Clutching the rock, she pronounced, "Well Edward, it seems that I have been had all these years, so now it is time for a little payback. I wish..."
