Roy, holding the rock thought about how Jennifer had defended him twice. He liked that Jennifer liked him but he wished that she didn't have to defend him. Under his breath Roy said, "I wish I didn't need Jennifer defending me and that Jennifer liked me enough to date me."
"Let me help you up." The new Roy said as he offered Jennifer and Karyn a hand up.
"Roy?" Karyn asked, trying to understand what had happened to change Roy. 'The rock. He must have made a wish on the rock.'
Karyn then noticed Jennifer. She had a strange look on her face.
"Thank you Roy." Karyn said as she gathered her wits about her. Taking the rock she said, "I wish I knew what Roy just wished for."
