Of course, Jeanine wouldn't have minded if the stone fixed that by changing him back to a girl. But in fact, Ken saw nothing happen, except that Jeanine let out a yelp and held his hand to his crotch.
"What's the matter?" asked Ken.
"I think it solved my problem halfway, but that's not a big deal. I know there's nothing wrong with the stone now. So I can still wish to be a girl again! That's not the weird part. The weird part is the explanation."
"The explanation?"
"Brace yourself, Ken. Remember back when I wished you were a handsome young man until you die?"
"Uh-huh" said Ken.
"That means you're never going to grow old! If you're run over by a car when you're 100 you'll still have died a young man."
"Wow," said Ken.
"And," explained Jeanine, "the baby inherited your eternal youth."
"So the baby's aging fast because it doesn't age at all? I don't get it."
"No, no. You have eternal youth because your body can fix any physical problems fast. So can the baby's body. It's as if 'being a baby' is a physical problem and the baby is fixing the problem. The baby'll keep developing at 30 times normal rate. It'll be born in a week. In around 6 months it'll be 15 years old and then it'll stop growing fast since the problem is almost completely 'healed'."
"So should we wish that that doesn't happen?"
"I don't know," said Jeanine. "First, I wish to be female again...."
