It had been precisely one week since John and Karen had discovered the stones workaround. In the week schools had been turned (in more ways than one) upside down. Government powers had been temporarily given to Karen in order to prove the evils of consumerism. Sarah, Biff, and all the other "bad eggs" (at least as John and Karen saw ) had been changed multiple times for the "better". All in all, John and Karen had had a very eventful week, and had more or less gotten the hang of the stone... at least they thought so.
Now, with a new week of school ahead, we meet John and Karen again, sitting on John's bed deciding what to do with their new mastery of time, space, and reality.
