Jason thought of his options, his cousin looking at him with that ‘daring’ look. Somehow… just somehow looking all the more strange with her head in her arms. It was just so… so weird! What exactly could he do that would top getting ones head cut off? He certainly didn’t want to do that and he didn’t want to go anywhere near that kind of power. Watching his cousin do it was far more then enough.
“Okay,” Jason agreed. “I’ll do it- but there are a few rules.”
Lucy grinned, while her body struck a slightly leaning in pose. “I’m listening...”
“I don’t want my head separated from my body.”
Lucy rolled her eyes. “What, not even if you could put it back on?”
“No! I might lose it or something.” Jason felt more then a little creeped out by the mere possibility of losing a body part- then somehow loosing it. Given his cousin was technically composed of two parts now semi autonomous, what would happen if she did lose her head?
“Okay fine,” Lucy sighed. “Under no circumstances can your head be removed. Happy?”
“Yeah.. so.. what do you have planned?” Jason looked at the blade cautiously.
Lucy though was trying to be imaginative. “To be honest, your rule has taken away about 99% of what I had planned to do.. but maybe we can still do something interesting.” She carefully made a selection. “I’m not too sure what this will do but I have to admit I am curious…”
“What about the whole.. reality changing thing. I’d like to be aware that I’ve changed too. So you got to involve me in the time stop, just like last time.”
Lucy gave it all some very careful thought. “Okay… however here’s my condition. You need to wear a blindfold and no peeking or saying anything until afterwards.”
Jason muttered. “yeah fine..”
“Great! Let’s go back to the bedroom. This is going to take a bit of work to prepare for...”
Jason waited, his legs twitching on the side. He was nervous… what was Lucy going to do? Maybe he should have been more assertive. He could still back out now right? Just forget all about doing this. The strange Katana felt like it could be dangerous- or at least should be. Though everything has gone as planned so far… but it seemed to him that Lucy wanted to try something much more exotic now. Maybe he should have just asked to get his head detatched and re-attatched.
Lucy started coming back into the room. One hand carrying her head, the but on one hand she had a pocket DVD player. “Sorry- this is going to take a bit more time,” She said as she went back out.
“Huh...” Jason looked at what she was doing oddly. “Lucy? Just.. what are you planning?”
“I told you it’s a surprise,” She said as she took out the remote for the DVD player too. “To be honest I have no idea if this will work… but I am kinda curious to see. I just need your computer now.”
“My computer?” Jason was feeling morbidly curious at this strange setup.
“Yeah, you’ve got a video capture card right? I need to connect it to the DVD player which is also connected to the Antenna.. perfect. Live TV- lots of options..” Lucy carefully placed the DVD player onto the bedroom television. She then took out a digital camera. “Okay.. stand up for me...” She then proceeded to take a few photos of her cousin. With a quick link she put it onto the computer screen.
The screen started to show scenes from live television.. she paused it for a moment then took put pictures of her cousin which- for some reason had the head cut-off.
“You did promise not to cut off my head,” he reminded.
“I promised you wouldn’t be able to de-tatch your head. “Look this will be fun… and if it isn’t we just reset things. You won’t notice any difference at all… now I want you to close your eyes.” Lucy held out the blade to Jason and a setting was activated. Lucy then put her head down to give her more room to work with. “You need to stand up while I do this...”
Jason did so as the blindfold was put on him. He was.. worried. His cousin must have some weird idea.
Lucy got to work. First of all she used the purple mode, with the purple end pointed towards Jason’s body as she cut at the neck. Techinically this was not decapitation as there was no body at the end. It was.. erasure. Besides- it would be fixed in just a moment. She shifted the body aside and with time frozen.. it seemed Like Jason’s head was just floating in space. It was as if his body no longer existed.
For Jason there was a strange feeling of.. of being disconnected. It was however very brief. Suddenly it wasn’t so bad and everything felt normal.
Lucy’s body then grabbed his head.
“What’s happening...” Jason gasped as he reached to get the blindfold off- but found he couldn’t!
“Shhh. I’m almost done. No peeking. You’ll be right as rain soon.”
Lucy placed his head on top of the computer. She had carefully arranged the keyboard and monitor and desk to appear almost humanoid. Hopefully the blade will take care of the rest. There was an image on the screen of Jason’s body with the exception of his head. It was quite odd as she placed this image which now bled out into reality.
She changed the katana setting to the Yellow ‘replacement’ mode. She then sliced across his neck fusing the lower section to now become Jason’s body. There was an odd strange glow as the body started to form, taking on a normal human appearance despite being made of electronic equipment. It looked like Jason had his.. normal body? A body he had always had now.
“Okay open your eyes...”
Jason did so as time resumed. He inspected his body seeing nothing unusal. “Okay.. am I aware of all changes in reality? Or did you… do something.”
“I promise you’re aware of all changes. That’s why your computer is kinda gone,” she snickered. “Here this should be fun,” she said as she took out a remote control.
“What’s that for- AH!” With a sudden click Jason’s head was now on top of a hot female bikini model! He stared down at the strange sight of breasts. “What did you do!” He asked as he.. gently started to feel at the strange soft skin and odd looking body.
“I merged your body with that of a television. Though I added some other multi-media stuff to it. You can now change your body into anything we can make an image of!” She clicked the button a few more times. Jason’s head went on top of a business-man.. Cheetah.. a bottle of shampoo.. and she clicked it again to turn him back to normal. “There we go! Is this different enough? Don’t worry you can’t take your head off- but we can change your body into -anything-! Let’s see what’s on channel 37- Cute!”
Jason’s head, now atop the body of a girl in a dress grimaced. What had he got himself into...
