Scarlett ran the local occult shop, and could be called Athena's mentor. She had taught her a lot.
Athena, Sarah, and Stephanie entered. "Hello, Athena, Stephanie...who is your new friend?" Scarlett asked.
Sarah frowned. "What are you talking about? I come here with Athena all the time." The two other Goth girls nodded.
Scarlett frowned and approached her. "Something weird is going on outside," Athena said.
"Looks like it," Scarlett agreed. "I've never seen her before, and you all seem to recognize her. Someone changed things..."
Sarah looked uncomfortable. "Are you telling me I don't belong here?"
"Only powerful magic can change reality like that. Powerful magic beyond my abilities. I haven't been outside since yesterday. In here, we're all immune to any other magicks that might be happening. The shop is well-protected. But, while we're safe in here, who knows what's going on out there..."
