Sarah arrived at the local Goth club The Spiked Pit and looked around for her friends.
Athena DeVries and Stephanie Wright quickly found her. "Sarah, where the fuck have you been?" Stephanie asked her. "You just suddenly disappeared. And you left your stuff. Someone could have pinched it." She handed Sarah what Zoe had left behind.
Sarah frowned. "What the fuck are you talking about? I just got here."
Athena looked at her, suddenly confused. She had a double vision in her head...of her best friend, Sarah...and someone dressed in her clothes. She felt a bit unsettled by that, and what Stephanie and Sarah were saying. "Something unnatural is going on," she said.
"Unnatural like what?" Stephanie asked.
"I'm not sure," Athena said. "Like," she tried to describe it. "It is like the energy around us is the ocean, and it went from calm to choppy waters all of the sudden." She looked utterly serious. "There is a storm here..."
Both Sarah and Stephanie stared at her. They were prone to believe her. She knew the most about magic and the occult of any of them. But this sounded a bit too weird.
"We need help," Athena said. "And I know where to get it."
The other Goth girls shrugged, and followed her.
