Despite what he already knew about the "new" Abigail, Jon thought that Zoe's suggestions were good ones. But maybe that was because they would, at the very least, mess with Sarah, without placing too much blame on the "hat of names". It was the kind of change that was subtle, but effective. Abigail had mentioned something about waking up as a chick, which meant (and Jon kind of cringed at this) that she was a guy before the change, so he wasn't quite sure how Sarah treating Abigail like an enemy would affect Abigail. Part of him felt bad for the exchange student, as he didn't want to see her subjected to Sarah's wrath, but then again, Abigail wasn't really Abigail. On the outside, she was still the cute tomboy who Jon had fallen for, but on the inside, she was a guy, who didn't seem to like Jon too much. He had to stop thinking of Abigail as the same girl he knew before.
So with that, Jon sat on his bed, holding the strip of paper with Sarah McMillan's name on it, then proceeded to make the wish, based on Zoe's suggestions.
"I wish that Sarah would believe that Abigail was the one who got her name from the hat, until she has definite proof otherwise, and that no matter how much Abigail tries to be friendly with her and try to get into her good-graces, Sarah will hate her guts, because she thinks that Abigail has it out for her, trying to take her place as the new 'queen of the school'," Jon said. He waited for the strip of paper to glow or something, but nothing happened. Did it work? At least with the wishing stone, it was clear when a wish was granted.
Okay, that was one wish. He had two more ... for today, anyway. Zoe also suggested making a wish to make Sarah have some kind of minor crack in her perfect image, to bring her down a peg or two. Jon was all for that, but what kind of change should he make? Hmm.
