Composing himself, he made his way into the classroom. Grabbing his backpack, Jon quickly packed away his things, along with the math book he brought back with him.
"You feeling alright, Jon?" questioned Ashley
"I'm fine", replied Jon
"Are you sure, you were gone almost all class"
I don't remember Ashley being this friendly "I uh, I'm fine" repeated Jon.
It was weird to be standing eye-to-eye with Ashley. The swapping had by chance landed them at almost identical heights.
"I'll catch you at lunch" Ashley smiled, grabbing her handbag and heading to the door.
I'm friends with Ashley too?
Slinging his back over his shoulder, Jon followed Ashley out into the corridor.
Watching Ashley disappear into the crowd of students, Jon headed off the opposite way down the hall to his math class.
Math class seemed to drag on forever, as soon as Jon relaxed he unconsciously spread his legs, causing his skirt to ride up his legs, and having to readjust it.
The sweet relief the ringing of the bell gave him was quickly shattered by the realisation he was now on Ashley's half of the timetable.
With a heavy sigh, Jon made his way to his locker, dropped off his backpack, & picked up the pink gym bag.
Pausing for a moment, Jon picked up the tights and skirt, stuffing them into the bag. Dropping the pumps on the floor, he slipped his feet out of the sandals into the pumps, then threw the sandals into the locker and slammed it closed.
He was dreading this class, but if he could get through it he would be one step closer to retrieving the stone and fixing this mess.
