Jon woke up the next morning bleary-eyed, but as he tried to get up, he felt a weight on his chest. That alarmed him so much he bolted out of bed to discover that he had become a she.
Jon turned on the light and looked around at her room. There were photos of her with other girls and wall art of her new name, Jonni. The room was pink and had a rather prominent makeup vanity.
Then she noticed something else hanging on the wall. Pom-poms. Ugh, I'm a cheerleader now!? she thought to herself. Walking to the mirror, Jonni found she'd lost a good bit of height but had made up for it with a rather ample figure. Her brown hair hung down to her back. Is this just one big change or three of them? she thought. And who would do this to me?
Feeling the need to relieve herself, Jonni walked out of her bedroom, then down the hall to the bathroom. On the way there, though, she stopped and looked at the family portrait hanging on the wall. Everyone looked the same as always (the photo was taken a year ago), but Jon was gone and replaced by this new girl. Could it be that all of reality had changed? Was she, and maybe the person who got his name, the only one who noticed that things were different?
"Hey sis, outta the way," Zoe declared, walking past her. She was in her usual bad mood. When Zoe reached the bathroom, she went inside.
"Hold on. I need to use the toilet," she said, approaching the bathroom door.
