Mikey looked at his teacher, sound asleep in his bed. She didn't smell like she normally did. The scent of his pajamas(how did they fit her?) masked it.
He tried to shake her, but it had no effect. So, he left the room and tried to wake up Jon. But Jon wasn't in his room. He heard the sound of Zoe in the shower. His mother would be coming to wake him up in a few minutes, and when she found Ms. Warren...
He tried to intercept his mother by knocking on her door. However, there was no response. Eventually, Linda Madison exited her room and went to wake up her son...who in reality was trying to get her attention...something she was oblivious of.
She opened the door to Mikey's room and gently shook the full-grown woman standing there. "Lydia, sweetie....it's time to get up."
