Behind her, Sarah suddenly felt like an impostor. Like she was living someone else's life. This was all wrong.
She needed to find a new life, her true life. This all seemed fake somehow.
Mickey spotted Sarah suddenly walking down the hall past her, like some sort of zombie. "What's up with her?" She thought, wondering if it had anything to do with what she'd wished, and hurried to follow.
She quickly caught up with the cheerleader. She wasn't moving that fast. "Where are you going?"
Sarah paused, and looked at her. "To change," she said. "These aren't my clothes," she said, matter of factly. Then she turned and started walking.
Mickey thought about that. It did have something to do with her wish. She wondered if she could influence the situation. "I know where your clothes are," she told her. "Follow me," she said, testing to see if Sarah would follow. She did. Now all she had to do is figure out where to lead her.
