Hours at gravesites hadn't yielded a lot of answers. She looked at Mikey suspiciously. "You aren't yanking my chain, are you?"
"No," Mikey said, honestly.
Sabrina wasn't exactly a human lie detector. It was just Mikey as Melony made for a rather bad liar. Almost anyone could tell when he was lying. He simply wasn't comfortable enough in Melony's body.
"Whose house is this, anyway?"
Sabrina looked at him. "Mine," she said, taking another puff of a cigarette.
Mikey's eyes grew wide. "We have to get inside right now and stop him," he said, forgetting for a moment that was impossible, as whatever was happening had already happened.
Sabrina got out her keys and they entered the house and hurried upstairs. There, Mikey found Doctor Nakahashi assembling a slightly different outfit out of Sabrina's clothes.
It consisted of a slightly longer black skirt than Sabrina was wearing, boots with a much lower stack, and one of Sabrina's corsets. It seemed to be a somewhat toned down version of Sabrina's outfit. Perhaps, whatever part of the doctor that was retained was trying to tone down such a radically different lifestyle.
Mikey turned to Sabrina. "Don't you see the guy dressing in your clothes?"
"What guy?" She said. "I think you've popped a few screws..." she trailed off, her face suddenly glazing over. She dropped her possessions on the bed and walked out of the room. Mikey followed her.
Behind her, Jo Johnson finished putting on her makeup and tucked her lighter and a pack of cigarettes onto her person. She was eager to get to school, unlike her predecessor. She was taking advanced biology...also unlike her predecessor, and today they were dissecting sheep hearts. Jo had something of an unhealthy fascination with life and death, and in the upcoming yearbook had been declared most likely to work in a morgue.
As she left her house, she caught sight of Melony Tyne, hurrying up the street. She must be late for school too.
