Jimmy entered the stage-left wing of the auditorium, unnoticed by the students putting together a dress rehearsal for Into the Woods. He stepped through the dressing curtain, entering a cubicle occupied by a naked Athena DeVries. Athena was about to pick up the witch's dress which she'd tossed across the chair in the center of the cubicle, but she paused when she felt an unsettling disturbance. In the middle of this pause, Jimmy grabbed the dress, and Athena's eyes went slack.
Jimmy DeVries stepped out of the cubicle just as Janine Gibson approached. It was kind of strange that a girl was cast as Rapunsel's Prince, but it sort of made sense when you realized that Janine and her twin brother Larry looked so similar. In fact thinking about it, Janine almost looked like the boy when you stood them side by side. Larry, obviously, was cast as Cinderella's Prince. That meant that Jimmy got to know the both of them rather well over the course of rehearsals. Normally Jimmy would have preferred doing something backstage for the play, but he couldn't pass up playing a witch.
