"Simms! Get your butt out of the shower! The bell just rang!" cried Coach Mark Burlington emphatically. The kid was always late for his second period, and Mrs. Sommers had started blaming Mark. He was about to let another deep shout escape his wide barrel chest, when his face went blank, and he found himself walking out of the locker rooms.
A much smaller form then exited the coach's office. Alistair Burlington put his hand to his forehead and sighed. That Simms kid could be so frustrating sometimes. Alistair shoved his head into the showers, and shouted with the tone of a child and the force of a barking husky, "I said get out of there, Simms!"
Jimmy Simms was finally startled out of his washing bliss, and dejectedly turned off the water, but as he stepped through the threshold between shower and locker room, Coach Burlington pulled his head back out as well and said to himself "Good, looks like they've all gone off to their next classes already."
He didn't notice as Jimmy exited the locker room.
