Mikey Vallen and Larry Madison didn't notice it, but by the time their bus stopped at their school, their feet could sit flat on the floor as they were sitting. This had not been true when they had gotten on the bus. They also didn't notice that, while they had started talking about the latest episodes of Naruto and Power Rangers when Larry first sat down, the conversation had subtly shifted to Gilmore Girls and Pushing Daisies. They also didn't seem to notice how Mikey's black Converse sneakers had turned to pink, or how Larry's ears were now pierced, just like his sister Janine's had been this morning.
Not that Janine's ears were still pierced by the time she walked off the bus, though.
