The next morning Janine woke up early, ate a banana, put on her jogging outfit, and went out for her morning jog before she took her shower and got dressed for work. Her body image was important to her, and keeping in good fitness was just one way that she maintained the image she liked.
While Janine was halfway through her jog, Jimmy Madison was just waking up. He was the first of the Madison children to wake up most mornings, that way he always made sure he had enough hot water for his shower. But as he finished he didn't walk back to his own room. Instead, he walked downstairs and out the front door. A large part of him was now "Jon," and so he was affected by Mikey's wish.
