Alan stepped back in surprise and wobbled a bit. "Suddenly I don't feel right." He said worriedly and sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Oh My God! Oh My God! Oh My God! It's Real!" Susan bubbled enthusiastically. "The magic is real! Alan look at your feet!"
Bracing himself with his hands behind him on the bed, Alan brought his legs up off the floor and held them straight out. As he watched, his huge feet were noticeably smaller and still shrinking. What's more his thick hairy legs were reducing in size to match and the hair was becoming finer and thinner.
"What's happening to me?" Alan said as he wiggled back farther onto the bed so that it would support his legs while he watched.
"It's the amulet. It really is magic. It's changing you to fit the shoes."
"Then I'm getting this thing off right now!" Alan said as he grabbed the amulet.
"No no! Not in mid change!" Susan blurted, stopping her husband before he removed it. "You don't know what might happen. Besides, it's only for 12 hours. Let it run to completion. This is exciting."
"But what's it doing to me? Is it turning me into a woman?" Alan asked as he stared mesmerized at his now very small and getting smaller feet, which were also taking on a distinctly feminine look.
"I don't think so." Susan said. She could see all of Alan's body and the changes that were happening everywhere while Alan was fixated on just his feet and legs. "I think it's just making you fit the shoes."
It seemed that it had only been a few moments, but the clock on the night stand indicated that it had been a half hour since Alan sat down. "I think it's stopped" Susan said.
"Now can I take this thing off?" Alan noticed that his voice sounded a little odd, but not terribly different.
"Oh Alan, real magic! The things we can do." Susan bubbled. "Stand up stand up, let me see you."
Alan slipped the amulet off and dropped on the nightstand. Sliding back forward so he could drop his legs over the side of the bed to stand up, Alan froze. His feet didn't reach the floor! Looking down Alan was shocked to see that they weren't even close to the floor. He had to scoot more toward the edge and literally hop down.
"Oh Alan, I love it! This will be such fun!" Susan said stepping close and stroking her fingers along her husband's skinny little arm.
Alan looked up at his wife and... Wait! She was taller than him! "I'm shrunken!" he cried.
"You're not shrunken, you're just temporarily petite."
"We have to fix this! This is terrible!" Alan babbled.
"Relax, the note says you can use the amulet again in 12 hours. Until then, we can have some fun."
"12 hours? What am I going to do for twelve hours? And what can I wear? Nothing will fit me."
"You're not completely without clothes. You at least have a pair of shoes that will fit." Susan snickered. "Besides, you're not going to need any clothes for a little while." she said as she grabbed Alan's chin and tilted it upwards for a kiss. Grasping Alan tightly enough to set him off balance while she kissed him. Susan backed him up to the bed and coaxed him up.
"I guess it's true what they say." Susan smirked.
"What?"
"Well, some women look for men with big feet. They say it indicates well... apparently the reverse is true too." She giggled.
"This is not funny. I hope you're enjoying yourself." Alan grumbled.
"Oh I am, I am! Relax! It's not how big it is, it's how I'm about to use it!" Susan purred as she pinned her husband to the bed under her and proceeded to have her way with him, again and again into the night.
"Yes indeed." She later whispered to herself as she smiled down on her exhausted and sleeping husband. "We can have a lot of fun."
