Karyn wandered into the house, making her way to bedroom of a girl her age. Kyla Leeson would be considered by most to be squarely in the nerd crowd, not very high on the social order. Kyla herself was at the moment engrossed in one of her online games, and even if she could notice the blond girl heading towards her closet she probably wouldn't have turned from her game.
Karyn opened the girl's closet, stripping off the clothes she was currently wearing, pulling on pair of sweatpants and shirt sporting the emblem of one of the latest science fiction movies. She stood there a moment, blinking as the world became fuzzy and unclear. She began feeling around her room, until she found her glasses on the keyboard of her computer. Putting them back on, Karyn realized she had a game session going already, and sat down to resume play.
Meanwhile, Kyla had already begun her Odyssey, her glasses and former life forgotten as she tread away from her former house...
